At the Worlds Edge Music Foundation is a 501(c)3 registered non-profit. AWE’s mission is to share New Zealand music and culture with worldwide audiences, while building international pathways for collaboration and movement of both established and aspiring artists between Aotearoa New Zealand and the rest of the world.
AWE Music Foundation Launch
26 Feb 2023, New York, NY
At the World’s Edge Music Foundation was launched on 26 February 2023 with a concert at the Candice Madey Gallery in Manhattan’s East Village.
The event for invited guests included a curated programme of Mendelssohn, Barber and the US premieres of AWE commissions from New Zealand composers Gareth Farr and Salina Fisher.
The evening was accompanied by fine New Zealand wines from Cloudy Bay and Felton Road - both esteemed wineries with vineyards in Central Otago, the home of At the World’s Edge Festival.
